A Minimalist Gold Christmas Table
An elegant, chic and simple tablescape.
Christmas is coming, which means the shops will be filled with festive decor. Some pretty, some tacky hehe (I’m definitely guilty of purchasing the odd ornament or 20).
If you’re looking for a simple way to elevate your table, look no further. Most of these items in this tablescape are transeasonal, so you can use them all year round.
Here’s the main things you’ll need:
White linen table cloth
Gold leaf wreath (x2)
Gold candle holders
Green foliage with red berries
Rattan placemats
Beige velvet ribbon.
Feel free to modify where you want to, this is just my preferred list.
Instructions
1. Start with a gold wreath on the table.
2. Add your placemats, plates and cutlery.
3. Tie a knot with your linen or cotton napkins.
4. Wrap a ribbon around the bow.
5. Place the candle holders and candles.
6. Add green foliage and red berries to the garland and napkins.
Tips
Try to weave in real foliage/ flowers when using fake garlands
Tie a knot with the napkins and add a leaf on top
Tall candles add to the festive atmosphere.
